How To Create A Page On WordPress Site?

To create a page in WordPress, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard. Typically, you can access the dashboard by adding “/wp-admin” to the end of your website’s URL (e.g. yourwebsite.com/wp-admin).
  2. Once logged in, navigate to the “Pages” section in the left-hand menu of the dashboard.
  3. Click on “Add New” to create a new page.
  4. Enter a title for your page in the provided field at the top of the page editor. This will be the main heading for your page.
  5. Add content to your page by using the block editor. You can add text, images, videos, and other media by selecting the appropriate blocks from the options available.
  6. Customize the layout and appearance of your page using the block editor’s formatting options. You can adjust text formatting, add headings, create lists, and more.
  7. If desired, set a featured image for your page by clicking on the “Set featured image” link in the sidebar. This image will be displayed as a thumbnail or header image for your page.
  8. Configure the page settings in the right-hand sidebar. Here, you can set the page’s visibility (public, password-protected, or private), assign a parent page if necessary, and adjust the page template.
  9. Once you’re satisfied with your page’s content and settings, click on the “Publish” button in the top-right corner of the screen to make your page live on your website.
  10. You can view your newly created page by clicking on the “View Page” link that appears after publishing or by visiting your website’s URL and navigating to the page.

That’s it! You have successfully created a page in WordPress. You can continue to add more pages, customize them, and organize them within your website’s navigation menus as needed.
